How do I enrol for training?

You can enrol for a course via our website using the ‘Course Booking Form’  or by emailing info@lifesavinghandsfirstaid.com.au or calling 0401 985 584.

I Can’t Access the Online Course Materials

The login details for the online learning portion of your course should have been emailed to you shortly after your enrolment. If you have not received these, please call or email us. 

How do I  find my USI?

Go to https://www.usi.gov.au/students/find-your-usi  and follow the prompts

Who will be conducting the courses?

All courses are led by Ingrid Gorincu, a certified instructor and founder committed to delivering high-quality life-saving training. With extensive experience, Ingrid is passionate about empowering individuals with essential skills, ensuring a supportive and engaging learning environment for every participant.

Is the Course Recognised?

Yes, our courses are Nationally recognised and Accredited by ASQA (Australian Skills Quality Authority) Our Issuing RTO is Business Wise First Aid Training which is a recognised Registered Training Organisation, their RTO number is 45193. BWFAT (RTO) mostly partners with paramedics because they like trainers that practice what they preach. I am not a paramedic but worked in disabilities for a long time.

We offer nationally recognised accredited courses, all available in your local area. Get a group together and we’ll organise a time and a place that suits you or for singles or smaller numbers of people we can combine groups.


Want Training for Your Workplace or Group?

We are flexible in the delivery of course content and can include information specific to your organization or group.

 

​Our in-house First Aid training is a popular choice for workplaces, providing a convenient and cost-effective solution while covering all required Elements and Performance Criteria as outlined by training.gov.au.

 

Our non-accredited courses provide comprehensive training in basic first aid, covering common medical emergencies along with content tailored to the specific needs of your group

Where are courses held?

We offer both in house training and private group bookings, where one of our trainers comes to your workplace or organization venue. Our public courses are mostly held at the Yurara Art Sudio in Thornlands and other venues around the Redlands.

Cancellation Policy

Students who need to cancel their training must notify us by email at least 24 hours in advance. With proper notice, you can transfer to another session; otherwise, the full course fees may be forfeited.

Do I get a Certificate?

Yes. Once you successfully complete all components of the course, you will be awarded a Statement of Attainment, which meets employment requirements.

Business Wise First Aid Training will email your SOA directly to you.

Does First Aid include CPR?

Yes.

Can I do CPR if I haven't done first aid?

Yes, but you can't do First Aid without CPR.

COVID-19 Precautions

We have extra infection control measures in place including but not limited to the following:

  • Class sizes have been reduced and 1.5m physical distancing guidelines apply in all our classes

  • All surfaces and training equipment are sanitised pre and post all courses

  • Gloves are available for use during your practical assessments.

  • Some of the assessments have been modified i.e., you do not need to breathe into the mannequin for your practical CPR assessment

  • Providing hand washing and sanitising facilities for students to utilise while on premises and encouraged during practical assessments

  • If students are feeling unwell, have been in contact with a suspected case in the past 14 days and/or have a pending covid test result, we ask that they not to attend and instead, contact our staff to reschedule
