HLTAID012 - Provide First Aid in an Educational & Care Setting

Course Overview

This is a Child-Specific First Aid Course that provides essential skills for responding to first aid emergencies involving infants and children, following Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines.

Who is this course for?

Workers in education or care settings (e.g., early childhood, outside school hours care).
New parents and school leavers entering childcare.
Teachers or childcare providers renewing qualifications.

Course Relevance and Requirements:

Perfect for education/care workplace or community emergency situations involving children.
ARC recommends CPR refreshers annually and first aid recertification every 3 years.
Check local Work Health and Safety regulations for compliance.

DELIVERY OPTIONS:

Blended Training: Price $122 where you complete the theory online, then attend the practical assessment at one of our scheduled group sessions. Sessions.

Additional Notes:

The practical assessment for all accredited courses will require each participant to perform 2 minutes of CPR on an adult mannikin on the floor.

Each participant also needs a USI (Unique Student Identifier) for the certificates to be issued by the RTO.
