This child-focused first aid course equips participants with essential skills to manage emergencies involving infants and children, in alignment with Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines.

Who is this course for?

  • Workers in education or care settings (e.g., early childhood, outside school hours care).

  • New parents and school leavers entering childcare.

  • Teachers or childcare providers renewing qualifications.

 

Course Relevance and Requirements:

  • Perfect for education/care workplace or community emergency situations involving children.

  • ARC recommends CPR refreshers annually and first aid recertification every 3 years.

  • Check local Work Health and Safety regulations for compliance.

DELIVERY OPTIONS: Blended Training, where you complete the theory online, then attend the face-to-face practical assessment.

Pricing Options:

  • $122 – Includes online theory plus a practical assessment at one of our scheduled group sessions.

  • $147 – If you're unable to attend a group session or prefer an individual practical assessment. Get in touch to arrange availability.

Additional Notes:

  • The practical assessment for all accredited courses will require each participant to perform 2 minutes of CPR on an adult mannikin on the floor.

  • Each participant also needs a USI (Unique Student Identifier) for the certificates to be issued by the RTO.
